I had a conversation with a friend and guide of mine who is apparently a psychologist. We happened to note that the dress modesty of women and the rape rates of a place has some connection. They go hand in hand.
About the women modesty and rape, I thought I would take the trouble to prove what had been my assumption, which apparently is listed below. Here's what I did.
First, I visited 'Rape Statistics' page of wikipedia. Then searched for India; which is not on the list. I collected the rape statistics of India from another source, of which the link is here.
Then I remembered my old geography classes that Syria is in the Middle-East, where most women wear clothing that covers everywhere except face and hands.
Then I went for France, for I heard that France has the most trendy dress.
So just as a Sampling, I took US, India, Syria & France. See below the extracts, source links, observations and conclusions:
Rape Statistics:
In US, 90,427 rapes; i.e. 29.3 rapes per 100,000 population (From Wikipedia, in 2008)
In India, 20,737 rapes; i.e. 1.8 rape per 100,000 population (in 2007) [From here, not Wikipedia]
In Syria, 125 rapes; i.e. 0.6 rape per 100,000 population (From Wikipedia, in 2008)
In France, 10,132 rapes; i.e. 16.4 rape per 100,000 population (From Wikipedia, in 2008)
About the rates in India, please note that 1000s of cases are not reported, but still rate is far lesser than US. And the Indian Statistics is of 2007, which is what I could get. Of course, you can add even a 10,000 more. Then it becomes: 30,737 rapes; i.e. 2.6 rape per 100,000 population.

US:
Observations
--The women in the US expose more. The more modest among the typical US women dress cover almost many areas, but as far as I know, reveals the curves and shape of the body.
--The Indian dress is more modest, and shows lesser curves.
--The Syrian dress, as you have seen from the link, cover everything except hands and face.
Conclusion*For a layman:
The more modest the dress of women in an area, the less the number of rapes in the area.
*For scientists:
There is an inverse relationship between the modesty of the women's dress and the number of rapes of a country
*For Newton:
There is a positive and direct relationship between the exposure of women's body and the number of rapes, when the place of the women and the place where the rape rate is calculated is held constant.
*For Psychologist:
The 'rape' part in the mind of man gets activated and blood rushes to that part of the brain and to that 'equipment' to be attended to, when more and more women expose their parts or wear less modest cloths, thereon
This is just an idea of publishing what we found. This is not to make fun of any country. Anyone can wear what they want. This must be only a coincidence and might not have any reality in it. The observations and conclusions are of course subject to errors and variations. The conclusions are especially for a fun to the writer, my friend and the readers.
